What a fantastic experience! Thank you Maite, Ruben, and Mark and all the orgas for putting on such a great session, thank you Anna for being a great president, thank you Michelle, Katie, Monica, Chris, Pablo, and David for being the best possible Chairs team, thanks to the press team for creating a wonderful paper and thanks to the members of ITRE for making my first ever EYP chairing experience truly fantastic.
I hope to see everybody at sessions as soon as possible!

Iceland - Gulfoss, Geyser, and Thingvellir
Some more Iceland pictures. These were taken along the “Golden Circle”, the standard tourist tour, which includes some of the main sites: The “golden” waterfall, Gulfoss, the Geyser area, and Thingvellir, the historic site of the Icelandic assembly, and rift between the North American and European tectonic plates.

Ueber die Wechselwirkung von Sprache und Welterkenntnis
Die Annahme unsere Wahrnehmung sei objektiv, würde den Sinnesreiz der Welt uns unverworren bewusst machen, ist trügerisch. Jeder menschliche Geist ist von einem individuellen System geprägt, das, aus unseren Erfahrungen entwickelt, unsere Weltauffassung bestimmt. Dieses geistige Schema ist unmittelbar mit der dem Individuum eigenen Sprache verbunden. Wovon ist diese subjektive Welterkenntnis abhängig, wie wirkt sich die von uns erlernte Sprache auf unser Weltverständnis aus und was leitet menschliche Sprachentwicklung?
